Naming & Sharing Conventions
Naming & Sharing Conventions
- Spreadsheets are used to upload data to Hapara
- We have a naming convention as we use the data for other systems: TD Students - example.school.nz & TD Classes - example.school.nz
- The SAME Google Sheets are used each year. Archives are made by having a tab for each of the previous years in the updated sheet.

Note that other columns can also be added, you just need to make sure you have these 4. You'll also need email and class columns.

- Keep using the same spreadsheet eg TD Students - example.school.nz / TD Classes - example.school.nz and rename the tab with an asterisk so it can be used as a reference.
- The upload system in Hāpara will ignore any spreadsheet pages/tabs that begin with a *
