Information for whanau, parents, and schools about the Outreach Research processes

Five clusters of schools around New Zealand are working to accelerate student achievement using the affordances of digital learning environments.

We engage education researchers from the Woolf Fisher Research Centre at the University of Auckland. They will be working with these schools and clusters over the next three years to improve teaching and learning. They will provide ongoing feedback to teachers and leaders to help us meet our achievement challenges in this way.

The research involves gathering data and observations to evaluate whether the programme is successful in improving outcomes in reading, writing, mathematics and other areas identified as of value by the schools.

The research has been approved by the University of Auckland's Human Participant ethics committee.
